Divorce Seminar Center
The Divorce Seminar Center (www.divorceseminarcenter.com) is a ten-week educational program for men and women who are adjusting to the end of a love relationship. The program is based around Dr. Bruce Fisher's popular book, Rebuilding: When Your Relationship Ends, and includes Dr. Fisher's Divorce Adjustment Scale.
The organizers of Divorce Seminar Center knew that their website would be an integral piece of their overall marketing campaign. Foraker Design worked with the Center's principals to learn about the Fisher process and brainstorm a visual design and information architecture that would benefit the site's target audience. The graphic solution that resulted was clean, simple, and effective. The site opens with a concise navigation architecture, in which one click leads the user directly to the heart of the content. Seminar dates are clearly posted in sidebars throughout the site, pointing users to the crux of the content: the registration page.
Following the launch of the site, the client was pleasantly surprised at the amount of traffic that began flowing in. Almost immediately, users began entering the site via Google, MSN and Yahoo! searches. These positive results are exactly what Foraker's holistic approach to web design is all about: integrating valid, accessible, search engine-friendly code and incisive, user-friendly design.
Pleased with the successful results of the website design, Divorce Seminar Center returned to Foraker for the production of a number of other marketing pieces including brochures, flyers, and HTML email blasts.
