Project Overview
This Boulder-based business has been developing athletic field turf underlayment and other protective padding materials for over 10 years. Brock’s advanced PowerBase™ and PerformanceBase™ products make up the foundation layer on the playing fields of some of the most elite sports organizations in the world, including the San Francisco 49ers and Boise State University.
Foraker Labs developed a lightweight Ruby on Rails CMS that made it easy for Brock marketing and sales staff to update the website; including imagery, media files, PDF data sheets, and more. Foraker Labs also worked with Brock to develop the website’s new information architecture and textual content—making sure to emphasize Brock’s signature product, PowerBase™.
Foraker Labs’ search engine friendly website launch process ensured that legacy page rank and third party inbound links were preserved at re-launch. Since launch, website traffic from search engines has been on the increase—as has overall traffic—thanks to a custom Ruby on Rails CMS built for search engine performance.
