Bull Publishing, a niche publishing company focused on family health and nutrition, needed a new website that would look great, perform well in the search engines, and make it easy and enjoyable for customers to purchase books.

Foraker Labs implemented a highly-customized shopping and checkout experience that was tailored to the unique needs of Bull’s primarily institutional customer base. In addition to eCommerce must-haves like credit card payment processing and accounts with stored shipping addresses, Foraker Labs developed custom features such as stored quotes, a multiple-SKU order form, and pay-with-a-purchase-order functionality. Foraker also developed a tightly integrated Ruby on Rails blog, implemented Google Custom Search, and developed all of the API calls for payment processing via Authorize.net.

Since launch, Foraker Labs has worked closely with Bull Publishing staff to make adjustments based on user feedback, and sales have been on the rise.
