Foraker Design Acquires Diamond Bullet Design
(Ann Arbor, Michigan) July 7, 2005—Foraker Design, a Boulder, Colorado-based Web design and usability consulting firm has purchased substantially all of the assets of Diamond Bullet Design.
Foraker Design was founded in 1999 by Pioneer High School graduate Stirling Olson (class of '89). The firm focuses on building secure and reliable websites and web applications via a user-centered approach. Foraker's clients include the University of Colorado, the Irvington Institute for Immunological Research, Med Page Today, breastcancer.org and the National Women's Health Resource Center. Foraker also services numerous mid-size and small businesses that desire a professional, user-friendly Web presence.
"Our roots in Ann Arbor run deep, and we're very excited to be expanding our operations here in southeastern Michigan," says Stirling, of the acquisition. "Ann Arbor is a natural choice in that it has a similar business and cultural climate to Boulder, and also happens to be where I grew up. Diamond Bullet has long been regarded as the premier Web design and usability shop in the area, and we intend to uphold that reputation—as well as our own—throughout this growth process."
Diamond Bullet was founded in 1996, and has tackled projects such as a complete redesign of the University of Michigan Business School website, creating the City of Ann Arbor's website, as well as web and consulting work for hundreds of local businesses large and small. Diamond Bullet Co-founder Tom Brinck will be joining the Foraker Design team as an Advisory Board member and Senior Usability Specialist, along with other Diamond Bullet staff members.
