Foraker Design to host World Usability Day open house on Thursday, November 8, 2007
(Boulder, CO) October 23, 2007—On Thursday, November 8, 2007, Foraker Design, a Boulder, Colorado-based custom web development firm, will be hosting an open house to celebrate World Usability Day. The Open House will take place at Foraker Design's office at 5277 Manhattan Circle, Suite 210, Boulder, Colorado from 3:30-5:30 p.m.
The event will draw user experience professionals and managers as well as university students hoping to gain a real-world view of usability. The occasion will be a networking event with tours of Foraker Design's offices as well as informal demonstrations of Foraker Design's usability lab, software, and processes. The purpose of the event is to raise awareness of usability practices and processes in the Boulder/Denver area.
World Usability Day was founded to ensure that the services and products important to life are easier to access and simpler to use. The focus of this year's World Usability Day is healthcare.
Foraker Design's usability research includes testing and shaping the user experience on health-related websites. This knowledge and experience places Foraker Design in a unique position to effectively contribute knowledge and awareness.
