Trident Telephone, Inc. (www.tridenttelephone.com), installs and services state-of-the-art telephone systems in the Boulder, Colorado area.

Foraker worked closely with Trident Telephone to create a powerful presence for their company on the web. After collecting branding materials and site design goals, our designers went to work fabricating a look and feel for the new site. The content elements were carefully organized to allow for easy navigation.

The strengths of the design lie in the backbone of the site—the information architecture. The navigation reduces the number of links on the home page and includes a global system of main categories. A careful balance was created between product photos, navigation, and copy.

The site was built with web standards-compliant XHTML and CSS. The liquid design expands and contracts to the width of the browser window, offering users maximum use of their monitor. The text size can be increased or decreased without breaking the design elements, which helps improve accessibility for users who are visually impaired. All of the site source code was carefully created to optimize organic search engine rankings.
