Foraker Labs is a growing web and mobile (iOS) design and development consultancy. We build custom apps that begin with usability.

We work with a wide range of clients, from local businesses to large universities, school districts, national nonprofits and corporations of all sizes.

What we build

We build well-crafted applications, and thoroghly test to make sure that real live humans can actually use them. Our list of trusted technologies includes Ruby on Rails, Ember, Swift, Sketch, and a zillion other modern tools. This list is always changing as we learn new things.

Why Boulder?

Our office is located on Pearl Street, in the heart of the action. Boulder still has a quaint vibe, given its population just over 100,000. Don't let the small town feel fool you, though – Boulder has some great minds and big ideas. We've topped Forbes's list of America's Smartest Cities, and for each trash can in Boulder there are usually two recycling bins. The people of Boulder take their ecological impact seriously.

Best of all is Boulder’s weather, with an average of 300 sunny days a year. Cool mountain breezes off the foothills keep the city from ever getting too hot in the summer, and winter weather starts late (sometimes not until January).

An active lifestyle is pretty standard in Boulder. Activities include hiking, biking, climbing, skiing, white water rafting, kayaking; you name it! The mountains are just steps away, and there are nine ski resorts within two and a half hours of Boulder.

Not feeling up for a hike? Attractions and fun activities are endless. The brick-lined Pearl Street pedestrian mall is right downtown, features an assortment of local shops and restaurants, and is one of the best places for people watching. Check out the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art or take a tour of the many Boulder breweries. Did we mention Denver is only a 35 minute drive away, with its own plethora of adventures?
